David C. Woodburn, D.D.S.
Dr. Woodburn earned his doctorate in dental surgery at The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1972. He served in the U.S. Public Health Service in Rio Grande City, Texas, from 1972 to 1975, where he met and married his wonderful wife, Alicia. He moved back to his hometown of Amarillo to begin private practice. He and Alicia have three children.
Dr. Woodburn is committed to his practice and his patients. He regularly attends continuing education each year to keep abreast of the latest developments in dental treatment and technology. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church and Rotary Club of Amarillo. He is also on the Board of Regents of Amarillo College. He enjoys time with friends, family, home projects, and outdoor activity.

Our Staff
Candace – Office Manager
Candace has been working in the dental field since 2014. She joined Dr. Woodburn’s team in 2020 and is grateful to be part of a team that feels like family.
She is the mother of twin boys, one daughter-in-law, a Nonnie to one grandson and she has a granddaughter on the way.
Outside of work she loves spending time with family and friends and is part of a group of women “WOW Warriors” who enjoy outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, walking, and supporting various community services.
Ashley – Registered Dental Assistant
Ashley joined our dental team in December of 2017. She enjoys getting to know new patients and assisting Dr. Woodburn in creating beautiful smiles. She is married and has two spoiled Yorkies.
Kris – Registered Dental Hygienist
Kris has been a Dental Hygienist for over 40 years and is privileged to work with Dr. Woodburn and his staff for more than 35 years. Her utmost concern is giving excellent care to all her patients through cutting-edge technology and education. She has been married for more than 20 years with 2 grown children and a beautiful granddaughter.
Celine – Dental Assistant Coordinator
Celine started her dental journey with Dr. Woodburn in 1982. She has enjoyed being an assistant and seeing how dentistry has changed throughout the years. She loves spending all of her free time with her husband, kids, & grandkids.
Jessica – Registered Dental Hygienist
Jessica joined our team in June 2018. She feels very fortunate working in an office with a dedicated team that truly cares for every patient. She enjoys one-on-one time with her patients and educating them about preventive oral health and implementing good daily oral habits. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and loves hiking, camping, and fishing.
Krista – Registered Dental Assistant
Krista joined our team in August of 2018. She loves getting to know our patients and helping them understand their treatment needs, as well as making sure they are comfortable. She is always excited to learn new techniques and implement our amazing in-house technology. She also stays on her toes with her 2 boys.
Carrie – Registered Dental Hygienist
Carrie has been practicing dental hygiene for more than a decade and joined Dr. Woodburn’s team in 2020. She is full of energy and greets all her patients with a friendly smile.
Carrie is a wife and mother of two boys who keep her running with various sports and activities. She enjoys running, hiking, camping, and traveling with family and friends.
Juliana – Patient Coordinator
Juliana joined Dr. Woodburn’s team in October of 2021. She welcomes every patient with a smile and a kind word. Juliana is a wife and mother of three and loves spending time with family and friends.
She believes in staying positive and smiling to make everyone’s day better!
